I don't see any image in your post but I can usually match almost any font.

If you're stuck, try the superb What The Font?. You just upload an image and it tries to match the shapes to letters (where you can correct entries if they're wrong) and then it spits out a bunch of similar fonts. They sell or display about every font in use on computers. If that doesn't work PM me or post to their forums that are filled with typography gurus.

That font is Helvetica (or Swiss 721 BT) Black Condensed with -8px horizontal kerning. Shoot me a PM with your email address and I can help you out.

It's the same font. I promise. Blowing up a font 300% with anti-aliasing from screen resolution (72dpi + font smoothing) will make anything look a little off. Look at the treatment of the bottom of the u/c R. It looks different, but is actually the same font.

And I do see what you mean with the 'S'. Specifically, it's the difference between the rendering of the true type font in different programs. It may be subtle but Photoshop and Corel Photo-Paint (what I used above) make differences like that quite frequently. Unless, it's a corporate logo I just move on.

If the fonts actually are different files then the original is a copy. I used the expensive ITC font in the image above. It's $1495
