Need More Hawaii Rec's (Maui)
My wife and I were married at the Grand Wailea about 18 months ago.
We took 20 people with us to HI, and had a great time. As for restaurants, don't miss Mama's and my other favorite is Sansei (sushi) in Kihei. Another romantic place to go is the humuhumunukunukuapuaa which is in the grand wailea. It's floating on an aquarium and the food is terrific.
As for activities, there is always golf, road to Hana, sitting on the beach is fun too. We also rented a plane and flew to Honolulu for the day which was great.

We might poke around the Grand Wailea, but we just stayed at the Hilton Waekaloa Village on the Big Island a few months ago, same kind of setup, (which was awasome) but we did not feel comfortable asking all of our guests to shell out that much ching to attend our wedding.
