Need some advice regarding ponds/large aquariums
Mingster: Taken from the internet:
"A friend and I just made a turtle pond out of a porch garden pond that you can purchase at Home Depot for about $28. They are located in the lawn and garden section outside. The one we used is for a rather large red-eared slider and is about 3-4ft across and 2ft deep from top rim to bottom, with about 1ft of water depth. It has three 'lips' that allow the turtle to sit out of the water and the sides are high enough that it can't crawl out. There are other pond forms that are much larger that would work if this is too small, but they do cost more."

Hey Mingster,
Maybe you can start a pond building business and advertise it on your import development site
At least you're keeping yourself busy. hat thing we talked about will probably not happen till the middle of Aug. Until then, I'm still enjoying my time off.

Richard. I've just become the turtle expert after reading about this stuff on the net! Apparently, goldfish are a very tasty snack for turtles! Yum. Yum.
Do a search for "turtle tank" in google.com. There are several sites with just the info you need to set up a nice home for Ricky. I think he'll like this one a lot: http://www.osci.ttu.edu/AngelaWeb/tank-setup.html
