neighbor haters
My neighbors are dicks as well.
Since we have a lot of cars on our street, people can't always park on their side of the street. One of our tenants sometimes parks in front of my neighbors house, and that bastard watered her car down leaving water spots and yelled at her when she got in the car. Next time she parked there, that guy ripped off her registration stickers from her license plate.
I never park in front of his house because I don't want him to mess with my car, but I have gotten into an argument with him. My friend stopped by my house and he started yelling at my friend, and he threatened my friend that saying something might happened to his car if he don't move. I told him to just try it because I knew he drives that shiny new 6-series that is always parked at the corner. Because of this and other confrontations my sister loves parking her piece of shit camry there if she can and she keeps every note that he puts in front of her windshield in the glove box.
Another neighbor tapped my car before my very eyes and refused to give me his insurance. I called the cops, and he turns the story around and blames me and tells the cops that I race up and down the street everyday. Cops sympathized with me and knew he was full of shit, but he said I'll have almost no luck trying to get money out from him, since it was my word against his.
There is also this one guy who is always watering his lawn and he always tells me to slow down but I never speed in town. I see him every other day in the afternoon on my way to work, but I just ignore him.

I support fining people for not picking up after one's dog does its business. Think about how pissed off you get when you step in dog s**t.

Ridiculous thread.
respect people and they'll respect you.
If you don't pick up after your dog in a populated area, you're just a jerk.

I don't have any annoying neighbors either, but I still try to be respectful. I even go so far as to turn off my headlights and just drive with my parking lights on after I turn from the main road onto my court (it's the second house on the road and there is a street light there, so don't worry about it being unsafe) just to keep my lights from bugging the neighbors at night. The house right in front of me when I turn has big windows right at ground level, and so my HIDs light the crap out of their living room. Most likely is overkill, but I still do it nonetheless.
Go home. "well, there's this one chick right...she like 70 or some shit like that...bitch tells us to slow down...so im like naw bitch you slow down...and she put this weird ass look on her face...and I tell her you aint nobodies grandma...and she says I have 3...and I says bitch I dont care...so I stick my finger up with my genius friend and say suck it...yeah...i'm the man"
well i give respect to all my neighbors, but there is this one guy in my neighborhood who has told me to slow down by waving his hands up and down. not only that but he decided to let his dog walk in the middle of the road so i would have to swerve. mind you my car is stock and i was going 25 mph in 3rd gear. i don't understand this guy. if i actually hit his dog won't he get dragged by the leash if he is holding on to it (it was wrapped around his wrist since he has a bulldog)? weird how people risk their lives for something so little. it's happened twice already. the next time i won't be nice, i'll just hit the dog and see how he likes that.
I'm wondering ... for those of you with "haters" neighbours, do you most of you have aftermarket exhausts?
I know some of you may hate me for saying this, but quite honestly, some of the aftermarket exhausts are quite annoying to others, especially Invidia and some of those singles out there. They really are quite ridiculous when it comes to noise levels. You really don't find that many cars out there being THAT loud. Try standing on the streets for a few hours, and check out what sort of noise levels you hear, then get your friend to drive your car, and see how that compares ...
You may think that you are not disturbing people by driving and shifting at your normal revs (i.e. 4,000 rpm), but when one comes to think of it, these are not the regular noise levels that people should need to tolerate ...
The truth is, you might have been driving under the speed limit, but the noise level your car makes is certainly above that "noise" limit that's not written in the laws.
As an example, I had a neighbour who drove an Accord with a LOUD exhaust. He was very respectful in the sense that he kept his revs low whenever he approaches the area. However, even when he's just backing up into his garage, his car would still wake me up at night with all the rumble. I didn't complain, and he was a nice guy. But I could definitely see how that sort of noise level could tip someone off.
Sometimes you really have to put yourself into other people's shoes ...
Or maybe just that I'm getting old?
