neighbor haters
my neighbor across the street actually back into my Civic when it was parked on the street last year when he was pulling out of his driveway. Clearly he wasn't looking because it was early afternoon and the sun was shining bright. He ended up breaking my driver side window in the process and also had to replace my door because it was all dented up.
Also, I guess last night my next door neighbor saved my Civic from being broken into or stolen. He said some guys in a civic pulled up, turned their lights off, took their shoes off (not sure why), and was going to my driver's window to smash it when he came out and scared them away.

Ridiculous thread.
respect people and they'll respect you.
If you don't pick up after your dog in a populated area, you're just a jerk.

My neighbor backed into my car 3 times in 2 weeks. Does that count? As it turns out, she was backing up until she hit something before pulling forward. She hit the cars on either side of me as well.
Has anyone noticed a trend that the people hating on the neighbors tend to be the ones raping the English language? I know it is not everyone, but the number of occurances appear to indicate a trend.

ahaha i don't have any annoying neighbors...they are all cool because i respect my neighborhood. the only time i got yelled at i deserved it because i was going a little fast. 30 in a 25 because i was pissed off at my gf..no excuse it was my fault...
anyway there are two sides to this and everyone has to admit this.
there are the extremist asshole neighbors that yell for no reason...or not a good reason...
but then there are also the wannabe ricerboi's who definitely deserve to be cursed at for endangering themselves and everyone in their path. these people definitely deserve all the crap they get because of their general disrespect to all parties involved.
on the other hand. if your like me, who my best friend even commented "holy shit dood you actually turned down your stereo before pulling up to my house, i always have to yell at bill(other friend) for doing that shit"...and i just look at him dumbfounded like..well no duh dood your parents and neighbors are sleeping wtf. or the fact that i actually follow the speed limit and don't roll through stop signs in the roads by my house or any other residential area(duhhhhhhh wtf you gonna street race with little kids on bikes?!?!)..
use common sense. if you really do have a crazy neighbor that is being extreme i would do the following:
confront them about it. explain that your car is perfectly legal or it wouldn't pass inspection. that you follow the laws of the road. they don't own the road, nor are authorized to patrol or enforce any laws. and if they keep harassing you your going to file charges.
the key though is this. don't try to be a total asshole(i know its hard
)...give them a chance to explain what their problem is so maybe you can reach some type of solution where you can both agree. this might be impossible with certain extreme individuals and thats when if your on the side of the law you can always use that side to your advantage. there's no reason you have to be harassed every time you drive down the street when your legally in the right. now is there??
other than that i'd just ride first gear to redline everytime i pass their house if the law doesn't do anything for you. and tell them to cry about it.

All depends on how they ask IMO...
At my old place I had a neighbor politely ask me to drive carefully past their place late at night because my car was loud. They were really polite and nice about it, so from then on I took an alternate route to get past their place and stayed off the gas.
Then someone else who lived a block or so away swore at me because my headlights were apparently too bright (??) and it would light up his house at night if I went over the hill at just the right angle. I did the petty thing and made a special point to high-beam into his bedroom window at night after that, just because he was a jerk about it. Yeah, yeah, I need to grow up, I know.
