It's north of the city across the harbour and east of the bridge, so it must be Neutral bay or Cremorne. But I don't know anywhere there that has a curbless road and grass foreshore. I run along that stretch almost everyday.
I have a feeling it might have been doctored.
I like it. Everyone here should like it. It's an S2000 COUPE. For the love of merciless crap! Why can't these manufacturers come up with an original idea. The RX-8 is more S2000 then RX-7. Copying is a form of flattery, well... OK, but it still sucks.
I really don't understand why so many people say that it sucks because it has some similarities to the S2000.
It is a 4 door, 4 seater, hardtopped, rotary engined car......
What is the problem with it looking similar in some places to the S2000? Bentley had the start button before Honda. The S2000 looks very similar to a TVR from the rear. The Honda's round tail lights are either Altezza or Skyline inspired..... the list goes on.
All car company's look at each other's models and decide what is going well and what is not. They then take these design ideas on board in their next car. This isn't something that only Mazda do.....

I dunno what you guys are whining about... I think this car is sweet!! I really wish it was convertible. Here are some stats from Edmunds:
8,500 RPM
Normally Aspirated
1.3 Liter (yes, you read that right!!)
30% lighter than the RX-7!!
six-speed automanual transmission
50/50 weight distribution
The RX-8 features a double-wishbone suspension at all four corners. The upper and lower arms in both the front and rear are considerably longer than those on the RX-7, allowing for consistent grip regardless of changes in roll and camber, and providing a smooth roll center and top-notch cornering performance. Additionally, the car's rear suspension springs are positioned lower than usual, giving the car more trunk space than your typical sports car.
And if you have kids.... well... there are two rear seats!!

Guys.. the car should look good to you guys.. it has so many similarities with the S... it's got to look good...
I'm really excited about all these come back of Japanese
"affordable" sports cars... with RX8, Nissan Z and maybe WRX STi
and Mitsu EVO7 sitting at around 30k range... it gives people
alot more choices to pick from... (and hopefully drive those Euro
sports car prices down!! No more $$$$ over MSRP)
