will the new classifieds section be "members only" or is that the point behind it being a classifieds section rather than FS?


my only question is.. im not to cheap to join but i dont feel its worthwhile for what you get, i mean it doesnt cost "that" much to run a site but i understand funding needs to take place.. if the search function worked 110% id even pay double.

my concern in the matter is... if everyone was able to post stuff forsale then theirs be more stuff FOR SALE, causing more happy people. more people finding stuff.. albeit theird be people trying to scam the site for selling as a business and whatnot but thats minimal. their would definently need to be a "good guy/bad guy rating fro each sale.. where it would link to the post and say "yes he was good.. and why, then frequent sellers can get ratings and itd be like an ebay type deal where people w/ good ratings have the communities trust /etc..

i was apart of 7thgencivic.com since conception and like everything they did with the site. the best part of the site is no longer working (allowed you to filter by zip/color/ex,lx,dx,vx/coupe,sedan/etc etc so u could find people around you or with same car easier..

but just take a look at the ratings and etc.. i loved how it worked.. in the 4 years i was on 7thgencivic.com i sold in entirety 75,000$ worth of accessories that i used and then sold.. and bought alot of items as well. the only part about their setup i donot like is how its just one forsale section..

needs to be more like e46fanatics where they classify each thing FS so its easier to find.. say wheels and not have to browse thru tons of "non wheels",

also houston-imports black market section has a good layout but all those people , well most are very cheap and often sell crap. among s2ki owners we'd have alot better items forsale.. and well some crap as always, but some find treasure in others garbage.


in a nut shell. i think the new classifieds should be free to post.. for everyone not just me shit ill even donate to the cause to create this FS setup.. but i think itd bring an "inter s2ki ebay'ish" section which would help people out alot. since theirs many upon many a s2ki ownerson the site and i KNOW alot of people have stuff laying around that they wanna post but might not have the availability of funds to join. or dont think they come often enuff to use it.
