Default New Investment Strategy

New Investment Planning Stategy

If you had purchased $1,000 of shares in Delta Airlines one year ago, you would have $49.00 today.

If you had purchased $1,000 of shares in AIG one year ago, you would have $33.00 today.

If you had purchased $1,000 of shares in Lehman Brothers one year ago, you would have $0.00 today.

But, if you had purchased $1,000 worth of beer one year ago, drank all the beer, then turned in the aluminum cans for recycling refund, you would have received $214.00.

Based on the above, the best current investment plan is to drink heavily & recycle. It is called the 401-Keg.

I don't get it, how do we get $214 in recycling? Can you go through the math? Also, don't stores add a surcharge of recycling fee thus neutralizing the recycling advantage?

Yea, how in the hell do you get $214 in redemption?
You'd have to get 4280 bottle of beer to get 214 back...

It's supposed to be a joke.

Not a very good one it seems.

Maybe you have to ship the empty cans to Michigan. Don't they still have ten cent deposits?

You just need a half empty mail truck to make the numbers work.
