deng those ipod touches are expensive for 8gb...

 

+1 i'm dissapointed that the iPod touches aren't atleast 20gb. A 20gb iPod touch would convince me to buy one.

As far as the iPod, yeah it came out, but the phone itself isn't great. So much is lacking in it that I would rather carry on with my blackberry than ditch it for the "trendier" iPhone. Even the "iClones" (as they are referred to) being produced by the reverse engineering industry in China is a better product than the iPhone itself.

 

Wrong Clawhammer, check the sales figures, they are astronomical! They are being very shrewd and capitalizing on a run away winner. Now think of the market penetration they will get!!

I went out and bought 2 more today. While I was in the ATT store EVERY person looked at one. Not everyone bought but at least 3/4 of them did.

Now if they would just find a good way to migrate your contacts from the old phones to the iPhone. With no simm card it isn't easy.

 

Not into the Iphone, but the Ipod Touch is everything I wanted in the Iphone because I wanted everything it had to offer but the phone. I'm blown away by all the features of this device for its price point. 16gigs isn't a lot but I'm sure its not to difficult to interchange video and I'd never fill it up with music. I've been waiting for a something like this for a while. I'm excited and I'm never on the band wagon with this stuff.

Anyone know what the Apple Care Plan for the Ipod has to offer. 2 year warranty and phone support. Is that against defects?
