Nextel advice needed....
well i was playing basketball, and my cell phone was stolen.....went to the kids house, since some of the people that were at the courts knew the phags....got my cell phone back, but with no sim card....
what are my options, i guess i have to cancel my service right??

UMMM so go back to the house and get the SIM card...
OR if im not mistaken, if you have the SIM Card ID #( On the box of the phone you bought, or nextel can probably give it to you) I think nextel can actually locate the SIM card through GPS.. Dont hold me to that though. (I have alot of friends that work at the local Nextel store)
if not, just get the biggest guys you know to accompany you over to the guy who stole your phones house, and check their phones for your SIM Card with your Sim ID # on it!

Yes since you are the account holder to that particular phone number and you did not give permission for someone else to use that number, they can assign you a new sim card with that number...For a fee of course. Theres always a fee.

Just make sure that you've suspended your service before you do anything else. All you need is another sim card and let them know what the situation is and program the new sim in your old phone. It's free, as long as you can get a hold of a sim card.
