Is it normal?
This thread is such an adventure, where could it possibly go next? But it reminds of two things:
i was in ruth's chris the other day and there was this man that was at least 70 with the nastiest comb over wearing sevens and keds with some 20yr old asian chick. Hate or congratulate? You decide.
theres a new documentary from the guy that did 'supersize me' (which i didnt really like)called 'what would jesus buy?' about commercialism. let me just say it looks awesome and hilarious.
apologies to anyone here with a comb over.

I'd rather leave this forum full of selfish assholes...
I thought S2000 people were anti-snobs?
Didn't we get involved with these cars because they offer so much for the buck... so much more than a prestigious label or a validation of financial status...Irony is an interesting thing.

Somebody like me, unfamiliar with this segment - would I be able to tell a difference in quality between a mass-produced Hanes and a one-at-a-time handcrafted (but not custom!) evisu shirt?
s2000, miata, z3 are all the same.
$3000 dry carbon amuse hood vs. $500 seibon?
$2500 titanium exhaust vs. $150 tenzo-r?
they don't know, and they don't care.
that's what makes us so-called enthusiasts, and they will think we are retards.
i think the same rule applies here.

Easy with the sweeping generalizations there, pal. If this forum is "full" of such horrible people, why are you here in the first place? I am sure there are plenty of forums for fashionistas, braggards or those simply wishing to lob insults from the relative safety of their high horses...
