I also don't agree with what people say about Dell laptops. I find them overly big compared to everyone else and they also have a cheap feel to them. I have a Compaq Armada laptop and love it. It is light and well built and does everything well except for gaming. The only thing I can complain about the Compaq is the view angle on the screen is not a wide as other manufacturers, but that could also be a good thing (security).

i agree with the lt,

my corporation leases dell latitude C810 series laptops 1.13GHZ. the only problem that we have ever experienced with them is when they run windows2000 and someone installs the freeware software "Web Shots" the machine blue screens. BTW Web Shots is some program that changes your background daily i think. Otherwise the machines have been great and support has been great.
