Oakley Polorized Sunglasses...
Polarized are great.
I haven't had too much of an issue seeing the guages, but it is a bit more difficult.
I third the Maui Jim comments, they're great and extremely light weight. I also have a pair of arnette polarized that are awesome as well.
enjoy whatever you get. you won't go back to normal lenses again

I know this is probably off the original topic, but I ahve aquestion for those that know a bit more about sunglasses than me. I am looking for a set of glasses that are the same general style as the Juliet, but not as much money. I go through glasses so fast that I can't spend $300 on a set and then lose them a week later. I also have a rather large head, and I am looking for a set that may come in either a large frame or wraps nicely to minimize the mellon head effect. Any recomendations?
I have a model from Arnette that works for my melon head. I have no clue what the model is though. Hopefully that helps a bit. I think it ran about $100 from sunglasshut.
Edit: Found them, AN4054. Mine is the polar brown color.

I have oakley straight jackets and bottle rockets in polarized.
Polarization will make the racing line at the track hard, if not impossible to see in bright sunlight.
Also, ATM's, Radios, Gas pumps...all a pain in the ass to see.

I won't even consider non-polarized lenses. All outdoor colors look more vibrant. You'll notice that if you have two pairs of polarized glasses, and hold one in front of the other, you can see through both lenses just fine. But when you hold one perpendicular to the other, they're totally opaque. I think that has something to do with why lcd displays are difficult to see... you have to be looking at them on a zero degree axis to have guaranteed visibility.

What does Oakley charge to re-lens Juliets? I have an older pair of Fire Iridiums where the lenses are toast, and my current Ice Iridiums are starting to show their wear (I've got 'em on approx 6-10 hours every day) and would like to not have to drop another $300 to make 'em feel new again.
