I work a desk job and I'm in the best shape of my life. All you have to do is workout after work and eat right.
Err I don't either.

Yup, gotta find the time to exercise. If you can't eat correctly, then you need to exercise more. At some point, something has to give and hopefully it's not the gut.

I gained about 15 pounds when I changed to a job that had me sitting down a lot more. It's pretty much stabilized there for the past several years though. Riding the bicycle helps a lot.

I went from a skinny dude who could never gain weight, 6'3 155 lbs, to a skinny dude with love handles and mini keg..anyone else gain weight their first few years when taking their desk job?

looks like it is time to get a gym membership and a good diet plan
Yup!

I've gained 20lbs in the past 3 years due to my job coming out of college. It's due to my gf too, always wants to go to unhealthy restaurants and she has packed on the weight too.

I'm a consulutant so after a 10-12 hour day, i'm too exhausted to work out at night and during the weekend I'm trying live life.

That's not really the right attitude, though. That's the reason that fat people stay fat. "Hey, I'm not the only fat person in the world. Must be McDonald's fault."

I used to do consulting too. Try to hit the gym for at least 30 minutes when you get back to the hotel. If not, try to do some push ups or sit ups in the morning before you get ready to go to the client site. If anything, just watch what you eat. The per diem or eating with clients will get to you. It can be done but it takes some will power.

^ yeah your right, but I'm deciding to do something about it, first with diet and cardio, then with weights, and really the only person to blame is me, i just though id stay skinny forever, i tried so hard to gain weight growing up, specially for my height is was nothing but bones, so this is all pretty new and different to me.

and i do blame McDonalds, damn them and there 1 dollar double cheese burgers!! j/k
