Beautiful views. Can't wait to see the finished product. That takes some serious dedication to take on a project like that yourself. props to you for that.

Holy crap, that is a big pond. You can litterally go swimming with the fishies now. I was always interested in doing a (smaller) pond in my back yard, but the combination of freezing winters here and two labs prevent the idea.

Hi Alejo!

Yea got this "little" project going on

So so moving right along.

Didn't get many pictures but got the liner in (thanks to some Bay Area S2ki Members) the liner was 775lbs we unrolled it and about 12 of us carried it to the back like a Chinese New Year Dragon.

Got the bottome drains sealed and cut out, got some helpers to put the boulders back into the pond (and amazingly I had enough). Been working all day on mortaring in the waterfall will continue tomorrow. Started adding water, 7 hours later its still less than half full at 9000gal,.. Woot!!!

Holy camoley! You aren't afraid of a big project. That's pretty cool. Great progress on a big project in a short time.

looks great so far! can't wait to see the finished project.

are those two holes drains in the liner? is there anything special about them and do you have to worry about them plugging up?
