I just approached this guy that I really like, and made up a story about how I remember him from a few years ago. Which...is not totally accurate. And...I got totally busted on that. I'm so inept when it comes to flirting with guys

I'm sure you dudes have heard some silly stuff coming from us girls....but I'm curious...if a girl is trying to flirt with you...do you guys really care if what she is saying sounds stoopid or not? I'm just curious

Just a smile and a "hello" is generally enough for a guy. Both the smile and the "hello" are optional.

It depends on the girl.

I think being sort of up front is the best. There is no confusion and takes the pressure off the guy. We face the possibility of rejection all the time. It is nice to know things are starting from a "good" aspect.

If he's attracted to you, then he'll smile and give you his time. But if he's not digging you, then he'll feel awkward and then try to get away.
