The latest craze in Japan is mobile phones with cameras and colour screens. You can take a picture and send it to a friends phone. How long do you think before it's here (and there).

Very interesting video - of course, it is assuming that incredible amounts of money will be invested in communications infrastructure. The value of a network grows as the number of participants in the network grow - thus, considering how expensive it would be for most places in the globe to be outfitted with these types of communications hardware and software, it will certainly be more than 10 years before we see a world even remotely resembling this one.
The other thing that worries me is the fact that as communications infrastructure becomes more sophisticated, it will also accentuate and further create a gap between the rich and poor people of this world. The "Digital Divide" will continue to grow and and make it even more difficult for people without financial means to have the same opportunities. The economically poor will also be information poor as well...
