Really cool vid. I agree w/Rodan, the amount of infrastructure that would be required for this is many, many years away. We'll be lucky if we see half of what was in that vid in the next 25 years.

Uhhhh..... didn't they used to say we'd all be living on the moon by now? I don't buy into these near term projections. And here I was all these years, hoping to have a space dog by the year 2000.

Way Cool, I too look forward to this. Beta testing a few new technologies myself.

reminds me of those films from the 60s about how the future will be, and the films from the early century about how we'll all be traveling in blimps. great ideas, but how realistic is this in 10 years? It places a lot of faith in the needs/desires of people to change so quickly.

I personally still hate using my cellphone.

good marketing video.

Cool video indeed. However, I do agree with some of the above comments on "wouldn't we be living on the moon by now?" and similar. Remember when 2001 Space Odyssey came out? Well here we are roughtly 30 years later and we aren't even close. However, I do think the video is more realistic than visions of the future from 30 or 40 years ago. I mean, the video highlights great advances in communications and technology, but the people are still driving cars and wearing plan clothes. Its not like they're flying around in space suits and flying saucers.

I would personally like to see cheaper internet and cell phone service and a cure for aids.

I don't think this will happen in at least the next 20 years.
Heck what they said we have now doesn't even exist like video conferencing on cell phones and such.

BTW, this is NTT DoCoMo's vision. NTT is like AT&T of Japan
