SEAL Team 6 doesn't exist anymore... it was replaced years ago by the Naval Special Warfare Development Group (DevGru)... The media is spouting out so much misinformation, its not even funny...

The US Government hasn't released information on who was involved in the operation, or what was used... But my guess would be that either the CIA's Special Activity Division, DevGru, 1st SFOD-Delta, 160th SOAR, or any combination of the previously mentioned were used.

either way according to my research they are mostly the same. A group of bad-asses only called upon for the big time stuff. the guys that won't tell you who they are until they are retired because most of th shit is confidential.

 

The name DEVGRU is no longer used...they're called something else now..still classified. Same with Delta, no longer CAG. I believe its now ACE (Army compartmented element). I know, cause I read it on the internets.

 

A former navy seal found and interviewed him about 6 years ago,so why did it take our govermment so long to find him?
If I had to guess I don't think Bush wanted to find because of his family ties with Osama's family.
