Our society is pussified
I'm glad some people took the time to look into that McD's thing... I hear people quoting that as a frivolous lawsuit SO DAMN OFTEN and it irritates the crap out of me for some reason
Fact is, many major corporations would love you to think that suing is bad/wrong/frivolous, but sometimes it takes a big lawsuit to get their heads out of their asses - case in point, this McDs thing. 700+ issues, they FINALLY do something about it after this woman wins a 6-7 figure settlement.
This is not to say that there aren't frivolous cases - I just feel you should look into all the facts before judging.
Sorry for bringing the Serious into OT.

^^Look at these lawsuits, I don't know if they are real:

Here's my favorite:
"This is a true case of believe it or not. Christopher Roller, a resident of Minnesota sued David Blaine and David Copperfield – demanding that they reveal their secret magic tricks to him. He demanded 10% of their total income for life. The reason for the suit is that Roller believes that the magicians are defying the laws of physics, and thereby using godly powers. But it gets worse. Roller is suing not just because the magicians are using God’s powers – he is suing because he thinks he is God and therefore it is his powers they are stealing."
Edit: the McDonalds coffee story is number 1 on the list...

so, our society is "pussified" because kids can now die of something as minor as a batted ball hitting them in the head? Is that the take-away?
Or is it that modern lawyers are so pussified they can't win a slam-dunk case against some dead kid from Montana?

Without the warning, obviously our pussified society could never have foreseen an outcome, which is why mourning parents need to sue.

Just dont let it happen again
