outlook express question

Default outlook express question

i'm trying to transfer all the accounts, emails, and contacts from the outlook express of my old computer to my new one. what are the files i need to retrieve from on old computer and transfer to my new computer to make this happen?? where are these files located?? thanks.

outlook express stores everything locally in a *.dbx file. It might be hidden so enable the "show all hidden files and folders" and then search you Harddrive for *.dbx files and see what you get. Also, there is a possibility that your info is out on their email server.

just go to File->Export->Address Book, and export away. Do the same for your messages. Copy the files you create to the new PC, and do File->Import->Address Book and Messages.
