Long story short, I had a tenant in my house that owed me a pretty good chunk of back-rent. I asked my agent to put the eviction notice. She agreed to move out by the end of May. But her agent told me she wanted to negotiate the

Have a lawyer send her a letter stating that the account will be sent to a collection agency. In the letter, offer to settle for XX% of total owed if it's paid by xx/xx/xx (insert your realistic terms here). Otherwise the offer becomes invalid and she will owe the agency in full.

I'm no lawyer, but this seems logical, no.

with Incubus. You'll have to pay the collection agency something, so, best to offer something+1 and see if he/she bites.

If she's hot you should accept alternate forms of payment. In case this is ambiguous, you should offer to give her anal.

LOL. That is just messed up.

Anyways, best to consult a lawyer or maybe do a search online. See what routes to take with such a situation. I'm pretty sure there have been plenty of similar issues being shared here on the net. As you have mentioned though, if she is really broke, you're going nowhere with taking her to court but spending more money. Yes, you can probably hit her credit, but doesn't really do much for yourself.
