If you want to see the eclipse without looking at the sun, just set up a round mirror to reflect the sun onto a wall or something and watch the reflection. I remember doing that when I was like 8 or 9. It was pretty neat.

 

Riverside was OK. I liked the Mission Inn. UCR is a nice campus -- I like the carillion tower. We used to go to Riverside Raceway and see the old Can Ams, CART, and the prototype enduros. Also, it was a quick hop to Crestline/Arrowhead/Big Bear. Parts of Riverside proper kind of scuzzy.

 

I hope it doesn't rain tomorrow in LA. I'll have to let the guys know at the Rajin' Cajun lunch tomorrow about the eclipse.
