Default Paypal Experts please help

I recently sold and received a payment via gift from an unverified paypal account. Is it safe to ship the item? or should I wait til' the money is in my account? The buyer has no seller/buyer ratings but has been on the forums for a while now.

unverified is a no go for me, unless i personally know the person. especially if it is a large amount. so easy to make a dispute and get there money back and keep your item.

Just tell them to verify their account. It takes a few minutes..

Either way I suggest holding the item until the money clears into your account. Much more safer approach.
