if ppl get horny, why have sex with ur girl when you can go to a prostitute and "stimulate " the economy.

Sure, if prostitution is legal in your state, and if you have no respect for your girlfriend and no desire to be with her, then go right ahead and hire yourself a prostitute.

the people who spent the $150K weren't irresponsible owners. They TOOK CARE of their dogs. I'd argue that they were more responsible for their pet than many parents for their own children. It isn't their responsibility to clean up after others. It'd be very nice if they did but this isn't required of them.
Stop judging others.

you know, you're right. we should all clone our pets for $150,000
silly me.
OK. Let's put it this way.
your mom is in the hospital and she needs heart surgery. You spend $100,000 to save her. Good for you.
On the other hand, you could have used that $100,000 to save the starving children in Africa. Instead of saving your mother (1 life) you could have saved 1,000 life from starvation.
You sound pretty selfish to me.

now, neither of those I could really afford, personally.
regardless, I know the attachment to pets. I've had many over the years, and its never a fun experience to let them go.
however, I've moved on, and got new pets, and even though they weren't the same, they were still unique in their ways.
maybe I liked my last cat better than my current one, but I wonder if cloning would give me the same cat. I wonder if the life experiences would have been the same. its hard to say.
