It's even worse when you're looking for street parking and some a-hole parks in the middle of what would be space enough for two cars. That's when you really feel like doing something bad to that car. In a mall parking lot...I'll just circle around for another spot.
great thread!
i went grocery shopping and saw a new TL parked in two spots diagonally. my gf was with me and noticed it too. we came back after shopping and unloaded our stuff into the trunk...then i put the metal grocery cart as close as possible to the TL...hahaha...i'm sure they took a long time to circle the car when they came back searching for dings and dents. it didn't have a license yet; just the paper sticker.
i think next time i'm going to use that letter posted from earlier and just change it for supermarket grocery use. =)

Not as bad as really fat people who park in handicapped spots. They should be parking at the very end. They get a free ticket and take up spots just because they're gluttons.
What I love is that they park in handicapped and then jump on one of those motorized shopping scooters compounding the issue.
Skinny people should get to park up front and the fatter you are the further out you have to park.
Now it is true that fat can lead to diabetes, heart disease, joint and hip issues, perfectly acceptable handicapped parking place issues, but the underlying prob is still the fat.
Of course not all people who park over the line had a choice. As someone else mentioned, when they parked they might not have had a choice. But once everyone else left it may have looked like they did it on purpose with their beater car.
I think the S is a car magnet. I can park 3 miles from the front door and come back to find someone parked 6" from me. They will have had 100s of other choices but choose to park close to me. Of course I may be maligning them unnecessarily, maybe they were a fatty looking for the exercise.
We have a bunch of people in our parking garage (medical building so 90%+ are women) who seem to have a lot of problem getting their vehicles parked between the lines. I may have to print off some of those youparklikeanasshole notes and put them on their cars.
We had one or two of those types where I work, in a packed lot. So I drafted a quick flyer and stuck it under a wiper. It had a little stick figure of a car "this is your car," the lines of a parking spot "these are the lines," and then an image of the car parked between the lines "this is your car, parked BETWEEN the lines." "Got it?"
These ones must just not have been paying attention because they straightened up the next day (embarassed I hope).
