To make this article more valid, how about compare the carbon footprint of people in general? You know, make fewer babies.

The argument that dogs have a higher carbon footprint than SUVs is dumb for the simple fact that the greatest way to reduce carbon emissions would not be to rid ourselves of dogs, but to rid ourselves of people.
If, in fact, dogs do have a larger carbon footprint than SUVs, then the argument is smart, not dumb.
I find this all funny, but at the same time I also have a "DGAF" attitude towards it. As long as we have producers and consumers (whether they're people or not) with unlimited wants and needs, we're going to be giving off -insert random harmful thing to the earth that we keep managing to come up with every so often-.
