Default Photoshop help

I wanted to see if someone with photo editing skills can change the color of this black car to a red car. I'm curious as to how ZCP/CSL wheels in Time attack color would look.

Thanks.

Pretty simple actually:

First I made a new layer and painted the car an oversaturated red at 100% opacity.

Then I turned the opacity down to about 35%, which allowed enough of the car to show through while still leaving enough of the red hue.

Lastly, I set the layer effect for the red layer to lighten, which allows all the white behind the red to come through. Look at the roof and the hood and notice how they're the proper white color. That's due to the lighten mask, otherwise they'd be pink.

That's pretty good work right there

Something about the color around the door makes it look not quite IMOLA red. But otherwise spot on

Great work! I think the thing throwing it off is the depth of the reflection - I just don't think a lighter color would show the same crisp and detailed reflections as the black.
