Default Pizza

Why do some people like deep dish over thin crust pizza?

And why do people sometimes cheat while eating pizza and paying taxes on expensive food that tastes worse than Denny's?

Discuss.

And BTW, anyone who eats pizza costing > $10 should be shot, killed, and run over by their yuppie-girlfriends in BMWs... before giving the aforementioned BMWs to me.

Thin crust is off the chain. I like tasting the pizza. If I want a lot of dough, I'll just buy a loaf of bread.

A nice, thick deep dish pizza for me. Spinach and mushroom... almost like a single-sided Calzone.

Not just , I'm :cornfused:

Now, yes, there is yuppie pizza. . . and that's all fine and well. . . but when you're talking real pie. . . I actually like mine right-down-the-middle. Not too thick, not too thin. . . and you gotta have a decent "handle" knead on the end. You gotta be able to fold it!!!

My favorite comes from a place that proudly states that it's bona-fide East Coast. . . Rockaway, if I remember correctly. My number 2 spot states it's a NJ recipe.

Deep Dish is okay, but it's treacherous. Good deep dish is a joy, bad deep dish has got me doing the funky-cheese two-step.

Better cut back on the prune juice, 8D.

By burgers do you mean ground beef only? Or any thick meat on a bun?

Because if you're putting something really expensive in there, like Kobe Beef then IMHO it's fine to pay for Kobe Beef. But a $30 "gourmet" ground beef burger boggles my mind a little.

I wish I could just get a wicked greesy then crust pizza like we get when I'm in Jersey. Extra cheese and pepperoni is all I need on it.

Everywhere else you may as well load it up with whatever toppings because without em you know the pizza is gonna be relatively tasteless.
