Pizza
Unfortunately we have no real Italian pizzaria's in my city. They are all run by over weight hispanics
does that count?
On the topic though, California Pizza sucks
, I am not a fan of the deep dish to much dough. And I don't like my pizza to be so greasey it makes a mess.
Paper plates always a must, but chinet
extra thick no seep through.
I hate paying more than $15 for a pizza, and LC's $5 pizza is not pizza, its carboard with thin toppings on it.
Best pizza IMO is Costcos $10 huge pepperoni pizza, and tastes great cold too.

NY metro area (NJ mostly) local pizzerias are the only food products worthy of being called "pizza"
I cannot stress this enough. Support your local Frank's, Dominic's, Verami's, etc.

First of all, the stuff served on the west coast claiming to be pizza is anything but. The same goes for Chicago. Yes, I just said it. Sauce on the top? WTF are you thinking?
Anyways, there is a time and a place for all pizzas. Sicilian, when done right, is a thing of beauty. Thin crust (not the pizza hut bullsh!t) is amazing as well. Brick oven has it's moments too.
No pizza should ever have more than 3 toppings, and only 2 of them meat.
Vegetables other than spinach, mushrooms and olives should NEVER appear on a pizza. Pizza with chicken, broccoli, lettuce, etc etc...is not pizza. It's crap on a cracker.
California Pizza Kitchen is not pizza.
You want real pizza? Come down to NY, and you'll never eat pizza anywhere else (including Italy.)
