The dry ice freezes it into a HARD compound instead of semi-soft/sticky.

Just use a flat head screw driver and start hacking away, you'd be surprised how big some of the chunks are.

Skip the 323 gtx motor. No big deal and limited hp really. There is a canadian version of the geo that has a turbo 3 I thought...

i was thinking about doing this with a few of my buddies as well. i read the rules, and the only thing that confuses me is the comp license portion. do you absolutely need one? i think it said something about a lemons only card or something?

My DD is a 1992 Sentra SE-R, trust me these cars arent easy to come by cheap. I dont know how much your willing to spend, but if you find one really really cheap it would be around $1000. My freind just got a 91 civic hatch for free, try for something like that. Remember that the car is going to have the crap knocked out of it for so many hours straight. My friend neutral dropped his Geo Metro on the wet lawn and blew the transmission to peices LOL. And my dad and his freind ran the endro at riverhead raceway here in NY. about 2 hours long- both ran Chevy cavilers- early 90's- both had such shot trannys(autos) buy the end of the race they wouldnt shift out of gear. Ability to take a beating > power !

Absolutely.. Well that's what I was going for.. But, if I could find a good ride that has a little bit of both, brute-basher & power.. that of course, would be ideal..
