there shows the disparity between combing your hair and raising cheekbones. i'd like to figure this out to a reasonable degree.

are we talking about fixing chipped teeth? or stuff like braces, or stuff like whitening?
having moles, etc cut off is different again i think

I don't really have much issue with a "little work", but I always laugh at the people (women usually) who've had so much done that everything looks fake. So then I guess you say, "well where is the line drawn at how much is acceptable"..
Easy- I know it when I see it

i definately think plastic surgery is ok...especially getting your teeth fixed if needed or removing loose flabby skin or anything else that people cannot fix by themselves...now when people become obsessed with there appearance is when you cross the line...there is a difference between being happy and not so self conscious when you are out in public and trying to do whatever you can to look like a movie star...i myself would definately consider cosmetic enhancement if i saw fit...

would you look down on a girl you met if she did have work done as opposed to without it?
If someone needs plastic surgery to fix a deformity or something, cool. But most people who say "I just need a little off the nose" end up wanting another and another because the problem was not the nose, it was self esteem. Then they end up looking like Micheal Jackson.
I do have a friend who spent $5000 on lipo, and just four short years later, her full ass had grown back. Waste of cash. She now wants a boob job. Shoulda got that one first because at least it keeps.

I'm fine with dental work and to correct a deformity (either from birth or accident of some kind). If you get it for simple cosmetics, I don't really have a problem with it either unless you go ridiculously overboard.
