Are you selling the PS2s? I am currently looking to buy one soon for GT4.
sold out through ebay already. sorry

they were going 200+

figured best to ebay rather than hooking up stook members since they lowball too much on a hot commodity

i sensed some sarcasm there.

the ps2 is a very hot commodity. my brother's broke and we went all over town to find NONE and got lucky with the last one at TRU. on ebay they regulary hit 250+

why? sony redesigned it, but before release, they waited for the channel to dry up on old ones. IMO they waited too long and are losing out on a lot of profit.

^^ Why for this particular holiday season? The slim design, new games, or what?

$250+ on eBay is insane considering they only cost $200 brand new... But if that what the current demand will support, then more power to 'em.

Ahh, just saw the edit you posted. So it's mostly the slimmer design? If that's stimulating interest in it, then I've got to give props to Sony. Takes some skill to drum up new interest in a console that's several years old. Hey maybe I can eBay mine for a profit.

They actually cost $150 in stores if they are available. Some online places sale them for $209 but they are out as well.

Geez--get it from gamestop.com or some other website--why would you want the new slim one anyways--it doesnt play all of the games. Besides a new playstation comes out early 2006. Buy an xbox if you really want one.

all about supply and demand. certain place have it others dont. majority of the places are all out. only resort to guarantee yourself one is ebay.

thus the price wars among the consumer.

us ebayer just offer the service to provide you the goods that you wanted (which we basically cleaned out every single vendor available to create an inflation and fake demand, therefore no one is able to buy it at retail.)
