Looks like she made a mistake and paid for it with her life. The fact that she was driving a Porsche should have no bearing on the crash. Even a POS Civic will do 100. So if she would have crashed a Civic would that make everybody feel better.

Not into brown hair but she looked somewhat cute, damn shame.

Owning a super high performance vehicle is like owning a firearm. Keep it secure, especially if you have kids.

No teenager should ever have the ability to sneak the Porsche out, or steal it for that matter. The irresponsible parents now have a dead daughter to show for it, assuming the story is accurate.

Thank god the spoiled rich girl didn't kill anyone else.
Well said.

ugh, for those who haven't clicked on the pics, DONT

can someone explain the pics to me. it looks like the villian in blade trinity who could split himself in half.

many people would say oh poor girl since she's young and pretty, but what she did was just stupid and selfish. its tough to say she deserved it, but how badly would it suck if the people in the civic ended up splattered across the toll booth and she walked with scrapes?

that reminds me of that teenage girl who tried to commit suicide by crashing her car head on into another car killing the driver, the girl survived

authority found out she was upset because she got rejected by another GIRL at school and text that girl that she was going to commit suicide right before slamming into an innocent driver

i think she is facing murder charge the last i heard

Last time I checked, Camrys can hit 100 mph too. Its not the car, its the driver. Bad choices, bad results. Sorry to see what happened - another foot to the left and she might have survived.
The difference is the Camery will let you know you're going 100mph. Hell, the S2000 feels like I'm sitting on my sofa at 100mph.

There's really no need to look at the pictures. Just looking at pics of the scene should tell you enough: Driver's side of the car rolled up and into the concrete tollbooth. Aside from the covertible top, her skull bore the brunt of the impact. This was most surely a quick and painless passing. By contrast, a Porsche was hauling ass on a local road a few years back and the driver lost control and hit a utility pole at high speed. Sadly, he was trapped inside the car wailing for help and mercy... and ultimately could not be saved.

I think it's clear that this girl made a horrible mistake, but it seems kind of cruel to rag on her for it. She did not, fortunately, take anyone with her. And plenty of people, young and old, are out there right now making even more idiotic decisions. Most of them just get away with it...

God help them. That is horrible. Those pictures are some of the worst I've seen (for close-ups). That family has to be hurting bigtime right now - talk about a terrible way to go (argued and then died)...

this was on G35driver. (not confirmed) but apparently she had a fight with her parents and took daddy's car without permission and drove that car away in rage.
I feel bad for the parents - the last thing their daughter felt was anger at them.
Sounds like a little brat, but still a young person with many years left now wasted.

Despite the curiosity, I don't want to have those images stamped into my head I can't bring myself to look at the pictures. Such a shame. Everyone makes mistakes, but she made one that cost her her life. We've all had instances in our lives where we've made bad decisions. This one was just ill-timed and tragic.

Such a shame for such a young person.

EDIT - Damn my curiosity for clicking on those pictures.... damn.
