Some of you guys must be lying! Mine was a 1971 VW fastback.
Owner's manual said it was good for 84 MPH. I guess they were close since I could barely get about 82 MPH on a flat with a tailwind. But anything over 70 MPH shook pretty bad.
I had to spin the fuses daily (remove fuse box corrosion) to keep it running.
And a hubcap flew off during a high-speed chase.

Oh man, I wish I had a pic. 73 AMC Gremlin. Yes it was yellow.
God I hated that car. Next one I kept for over 13 years, 68 VW Bug. Had more fun in that car than any other. (and not the driving kind if you get my drift)
