1956 Plymouth Savoy. Couldn't post a pic. if I wanted. When I bought it in 1966 if it wasn't for Bondo and duct tape wouldn't have been together long enough to drive. But then again for $75 what can you expect

1985 VW Scirocco ... bought brand new for $10k. Owned for about two months before I flipped, yes flipped the car over and totaled it. I was swerving back and forth trying to warm the tires up like I was an indy car racer and simply lost control of the car.
When the car came to a rest I was dangling upside down by the seat belt.

Lucky for me the insurance company ended up paying us over $12k so I ended up being able to afford a 1986 Mustang SVO.

I was only 17 ..... what can I say. Chalk it up to being young, stupid and feeling invinsible.

VTECnology - 1986 Dodge Daytona Shelby Z. Believe it or not this was a truely impressive sports car. Daytonas sucked but the limited build '86 Shelby Zs were limited production hand built sports cars. From that I got A four door GSR to a Type-R to a Cl type S to the S2000.
I too had a Daytona Turbo Z this is another story all together ..... I do remeber the 174hp Daytona Shelby Z it was one of the better performance cars of its day.

see sig for my prior vehicles

Hey my first car was a 1956 Plymouth Savoy also. Got it from my Grandmother in 1976 with 26k miles on it. Push button transmission was great for getting out of those Iowa snow drifts. It got loose on me on a gravel road and I bent the frame on it. I think it's still sitting behind a barn back home.

1972 Ford Pinto (no pictures available for obvious reasons!). Hey it had a four cylinder 2 Liter engine, the stook was my destiny! The engine was from Ford of germany and was bullit proof. It had a 6700 rpm redline, but I regulary took it to 8 grand before I installed a tachometer and realized what I was doing. It was a great off road car. It was Ford's (USA) first attempt at a small car so the suspension was pretty tough and had lots of travel.

P.S. Thanks to Paulieblks2k for his post which gave me the courage to post the above .
