Pour water on our laptop?
You wouldn't need to worry about skin contact - it should be a pretty inert liquid. You could conceivably breathe in this kind of fluid if there was enough dissolved oxygen.

It's not such a big deal really. The laptop might also deserve partial credit.
I have a couple of DELL laptops here. I spilled a full (large) glass of red wine into the keyboard of one of them a couple of years ago.
It continued to run so I turned it off, took it to the sink, held it up on it's edge and ran the tap water directly through it from one end to the other. (Thinking to myself at the time "it's stuffed anyway")
I then pulled off whatever bits I could (HD, Battery ect) and used a hairdryer on it until I could see no traces of water.
After leaving it for 3 days face down on a towel I reassembled it and went to boot it up. To my amazement it ran flawlessly and has continued to do so ever since.
