Yeah I would avoid pretzels. Frozen Yogurt or Ice cream seems like a niche uncovered in the mall. Ben and Jerry's is a franchise. I worked for one a couple years ago during summers in college. We had a stand alone store in a town. Winters were slow, but when you're in a mall, its going to have a ton of traffic and probably won't have the same level of off season.

halal food would also be a big plus. Love it. Though if your area is not keen on it, would be risky with your money.

Panera? Chipotle? Subway? Smoothie King? Flamers? (best burger place). Arbys? Dippin' Dots?

I better get a cut of the paycheck

Any bagel places?

We have Brugers Bagels out here and a friend looked into them once. Most owners at the time were making back their investment the first year but that was ten years ago.

Bagels, bagel sandwiches, coffee and soup brings the women in like flies for food they don't feel will make their ass huge.
we only have a couple bagel places in the area. we used to have a Bruegers but i think their location sucked. since then it was 2 other things and now buldozed.

in the mall though there are no bagel places at all and not even anywhere near the mall that I can think of.

the only empty spot in this mall is a 200sq foot kiosk in the middle... wonder if it is big enough to make bagels? The one bagel place has 8-10 different flavors of bagels.... are bagled boiled when they are cooked? i have no clue.

There aren't any Popcorn places in the mall..... of course to cook kettle corn you need that open flame.... think the mall would not allow that? think of the smell throughout the entire mall though???

You can afford this one. I almost did this 20 years ago. The location I wanted to go into vetoed it because they do not open on Sundays.
