Get the samsung netbook. you will NOT be dissapointed. slightly pricier but much better battery life and very well made.

900mhz?? I didn't know they still have anything less than 1ghz. In that case, it's too expensive.

Speaking of netbook, I just took delivery of my dell mini today. They are exactly what they are called. A netbook. Use it anything other than surfing the web and the machine will give you a speed/capabitlity tantrum.

My friend told me that dont get anything smaller than 12" if i want a "laptop". is that ture?

Asus is great, but shoot for the 1.66ghz Atom. Also, get the larger 6 cell. The battery life is ridiculous.

it really just depends what you want as a user. i love using linux but my gf hates it (something about not being able to do stuff ). if you go with the eeepc, check out www.eeebuntu.org



IIRC, you need at least 8GB for windows to work so you may want to upgrade hard drive if you go with the asus.
