Don't get me wrong, it is a dick move, as it might cost the dealer his job and whatnot, but this is capitalism. Image if you signed a contract that was in THEIR favor, and you asked to correct it...you think they would? Not a chance.

If the only error was a grand or two on the residual, it isn't even that big of a deal. If he bought the car at the end of the lease, they would make almost the same money, except for the interest factor. That residula is a big fat guess anyway.
I want to hear from the IP how this works through.

I'd politely say that I'm renting a car (equivalent to a BMW 3 series) and that SOMEBODY'S going to have to pay for it.

Wasn't there an M5 thread where BMW did practically the same thing?
Agree on a price and try to change it after they realized their mistake.
Is this a trend for BMW?
