I couldn't use the internet for about an hour because I couldn't get any service. Anyone know if this problem will become frequent?? If so, I might just go with DSL or something. Thanks!!!

 

Comcast is using Excite@Home to provide their broadband connection. Excite@Home just went bankrupt. Right now, Comcast and Cox signed a deal with Excite@Home to help keep them afloat for the time being. Your service probably went out since Excite@Home was turned off for a while. I'm sure Comcast will be searching for a new ISP soon.
