Programmer Count
Delphi - 4 years (former "Delphi Developer's Journal" editor)
C++ - 5 years (former editor, occasional speaker, and contributor to "Black Belt C++")
Java - 2 years (enough to be dangerous)
C - 6 years
C#/.NET - just touching it--not inhaling
Now I manage a team of programmers, and design/build COM/DCOM servers and integration products. It's been called "hearding cats," and that's about right.

damn you guys are too advanced for me. im a cs major and love learning new programming languages. for now, we're doing advanced c++ but i want to move on to better things like c#/.net.
so for now i know VB, c, c++, and java(<---very easy to learn if you already know c++).

SAS on OpenVMS...
(I'm in the medical insurance biz).
I also use PHP to develop web based database apps with the data I crunch using above.
Sometimes revert to C++ or Java if there is something SAS can't do for me.
Sounds fun, huh?
When I decided to become a programmer I envisioned applications development, not number crunching/data mining, but I love my job nonetheless.
