protein
muscle milk is more of a casein, slow digesting protein so I wouldn't recommend it if your looking for something fast or pre/post workout. You need a whey protein; i prefer syntha 6 but it does cost a little more and you don't get as many servings per container say if you were to buy ON. I'd recommend also to try and take the least amount of protein shakes as possible and just replace it w/real food since protein shakes are known to make you full thus not wanting to eat 2 hours later. Tell us more on what your trying to achieve physically then we could direct you on what protein shake to buy. If your just looking for something that taste good, go w/muscle milk, it taste good cause it has more sugar then the other products.
Plenty of Meat, eggs, and nuts always worked for me!
When i used to work out heavily for waterpolo, tennis, squash, and climbing/spelunking - milk, eggs, and honey mixed in blender did the trick
Sorry never tried any of that protein shake stuff. Can't help there.
Maybe mix with ice cream and make a milkshake? Chocolate, strawberry, or bacon?

1 scoop of Whey is all you need, anymore your just shittin it out. Your body can digest only so much protein at once. ON is #1. Take 1 scoop 3 times a day, thats what will yield the best results.
BTW, whey/casein/etc are good for their convenience, but aside from whey being quick digesting for PWO, eating whole foods will get you the same results as there is nothing magical about protein powder. Its a convenient way to supplement your diet, but that's about it.

How much whey you need depends on your body as well as the rest of your diet. Eating "x" number of scoops doesn't mean better results necessarily.
