Default Public Fluorination

Im not the conspiracy theorist most of the time, but a friend pointed out to me that public fluorination is done on a wide scale with the premise of protecting our dental health. I have found several links and pieces of evidence that many water suppliers and refiners do intentionally add fluoride for ingestion.

The adverse health effects are overwhelming.... I seriously dont get why this is being done??

Holyshit... go ahead soapboxers, lets see you derail this one. Medically its bad shit, but the contrast I draw is that its being added to communal drinking water intentionally?!

welcome to 1970. Fluoridated drinking water is a Communist plot, obviously.

Obviously the adverse health effects are overwhelming if you think fewer cavities is an adverse effect. Much of the so-called "first world" has fluoridated water. They seem to be getting along fine. Where is the evidence of these "overwhelming" adverse effects?

And if you wear a tinfoil hat, your head stays warmer in winter because the CIA mind control waves are blocked which generates heat in the tinfoil.

Well he does have a point, they have been fluorinating water supplies for some time now. If your water is not fluorinated, your dentist will usually recommend using a fluoride toothpaste. As far back as I can remember, I know my dentist usually asks whether or not I get it through the water supply or toothpaste; I always check water supply.

If you really want to get down and dirty, you can make the case that oxygen is destroying our bodies (it is)... but we need it, so...

Also, if you notice in many of those studies, researchers used high doses of fluoride, or rat models, and so on. To be honest Kyushin, I'd be more worried about what's in the air than what's in the water. Your liver is pretty good at detox, but what goes in your lungs can create some real damage. Not to mention it's impossible to control what you're breathing in on a daily basis.

Ya, I can see your point. I also agree that theres nasty stuff in the air, im just curious though, because dentists say you can get all the fluoride you need from a mouth rinse or simply brushing, why do the feds feel the need to force it that way?

Youre also very correct about the oxygen ordeal, the internal fight of oxidation and free radicals in our bodies is a threat. Cant live without it unfortunately.

I know that its all on a basis of probability, not all smokers get lung cancer and not all alcoholics get liver cirrhosis. My stand is that its unnecessary, thats all.

Theres so much random trace shit floating around in communal water anyways its just another chemical, I stick to RO or distilled water personally.
