Default Q: Would you rather have a GTR or e92 m3 in your garage given these parameters?

I'm asking this question here because I wanted a neutral and non-biased approach to both cars. I know if I ask this on the m3 or GTR forum it will turn into a pissing war and I'm beyond that these days. Most s2ki members are mature and I'm sure we all respect both the m3 and GTR so wanted to hear your thoughts, pros/cons....

Both cars are great cars in their own right and have comparable MSRP's ($70k ~ $90k) so my guess is a person looking at either of these cars can afford either one so price should NOT be an issue.

I'm considering both cars sorta but debating if another sports car is even proper or should I be looking at more family oriented cars that fit baby seats better like a sport SUV.

Factors:
-Must be reliable and safe
-Fit 1 baby seat in back
-Automatic (DCT, paddle, etc, no manual!)
-Fold down rear seats or LARGE trunk

*We already have 2 SUV's and a few sports cars in our garage so debating our next addition (sold the IS-F)

Question:

Which car do you think is a better choice/buy if you were in my shoes? Wondering why an m3 owner did not consider a GTR and vice versa? Both are great cars, so which one is better choice?

If you already have a couple of kid haulers I say go for the GTR. It's a whole different level of car over the m3

For someone who has driven neither, I say GTR. I know the styling isn't for everybody, but I love the looks of it over an M3. Plus performance-wise, the GTR is just a step above the M3.

If you don't mind spending the extra dough, GTR all the way.

GTR for me, between the style and the fact that I'm a gadget geek its an easy choice.
