And for those who have never fainted, it's not really that fun. You start to feel dizzy and sick to your stomach, then the tunnel vision starts, everything gets a little blurry and the next thing you know you r waking up not knowing where the hell you are
I would not worry about it too much. If it is related to something out of the ordinary, like this medical visit that is one thing but if it happened just sitting and watching tv, well thats another.
I had really bad strep throat and fever one summer in high school and my parents were out of town. Since I was only 15, I had to ride my bike in 95 degree heat up to the doctor. I sat in the 68 degree doc's office, had a penicillin shot, walked out of the clinic hit the 95 degree heat again and started to feel woozy. Walked in and told the receptionist something was wrong and the tunnel vision started. Then as she talked to me it started to sound as if I was hearing her voice down a long hallway, and I was out.
Never happened again in 24 years.
I thought it was kind of cool to experience as sort of a wierd head trip, but been there done that, don't need to ever again. The tunnel vision thing is the wierdest. Followed by the time warp.
I asked to be propped up and only get a local anesthetic when I had surgery on my foot.. I wanted to watch. vtec9 the badass.
The only passout story I have is from 3rd grade, and it's not about me. One of my friends (to this day) was giving a book report or something in front of the class. He got maybe 30 seconds in, fainted, fell backwards, hit his head on the blackboard, fell forward, cracked his front tooth off is that funny?
Yeah, some people like to watch, but a lot say, KNOCK ME OUT PLEASE, I don't want to know anything...waaaaaa
I had a guy once that was a 350 lb bouncer at a club. The first thing he said when he woke up was, "I want my momma."
7 days and this thread hasn't been attacked by zomax and sogno? WTF?!?!
the title even begged them to come inside!
i passed out once; i had gone about 4 days without eating anything (i had the flu); stood up from the couch too quickly, and down i went
another time, i had smashed my thumb in a rivet machine at work (see pics below), and was in the doctor's office where she was poking, prodding, and stabbing it (my thumb.) the combination of pain and seeing my thumb split open like a grape made me a little lightheaded. no fainting though.

Hey guys, please don't mix me in with 'doc' Zomax. As anyone can see, I'm not a doctor - I'm a Honda. Yeah, that's the ticket...a Honda. Can't you tell? That's me in my avatar!
