Default question for contractors

i know we have a very wide variety of professionals here, so if you know the answer, please let me know.

my family has some land in Kern County, about an hour and half to two hour drive away from LA (depending on how fast you go). from what i hear the land is just a big patch of desert, a patch of nothingness. after witnessing the rather fun track day we had a few weeks ago, i figure since my family ain't gonna use the land, i might as well use it. so i'm doing some preliminary planning here for a track and maybe even a drag strip. i would like to know how much it would cost to pave something like that?

any ideas? i just want to get some numbers going here.

well best of luck, concrete and asphault aren't cheep and neither is labor. Plus if you plan to open up the track to others you will have to get insurance, disclaimer/waiver, tree, lights, stands, food booth, security, etc...
