You probably won't get your money's worth at Bora Bora until you've been married a year or 2.

You will be just as happy in a $2 motel for as much time as you 'll spend roaming the beaches, eating, etc.
this may sound retarded, but both my fiance and I are super clean. i've stayed in a shitty hotel once and could not sleep at all. I am all for spending top dollar for great and luxurious rooms..

don't get me wrong, i do plan to enjoy the beaches etc...

check out Bali. They have great all inclusive packages for honeymooners, and service is usually top notch. That is #1 on my list when the time comes.

You don't list where you are currently located and that might make a difference because some places are much cheaper to travel to depending on if you are east coast or west coast.

If you don't mind Hawaii again go Kuai. Not that busy. Or I highly recommend the Hilton Waikaloa Village on the big island. My wife and I did Maui but we were married in Hawaii.

Otherwise I like the previously suggested Italy idea. Or check out the Virgin Islands.

Going to Thai Islands or Bora Bora or something would be nice, but for me, you get worn out from all the effort of a wedding, and to take a half day flight and deal with the jet lag would not allow me to get the full enjoyment of the exotic location. I'd be too wiped out, and want to do something like that on a future vacation, maybe an anniversary.

Another suggestion would be one of the more private islands. You definately have the budget to do Lanai. I think that Island is privately owned and has only a couple of very exlcusive resorts that treat you like royalty. If you want you can then day trip to the other islands by small plane or helicopter. There is a ferry I think that goes daily to Hana Maui if you want to day trip too.

***oh yeah, Congratulations and many happy years!
