That's why I suggested Bali. You can rent private villas, with private beaches, and a full staff for anything you need. So you can do it on the beach, pool, living room, wherever tickles your fancy.
Another vote for the Virgin Islands here. We have friends who go to Peter Island every year and love it.
We've been to St. John four times now, and it's beautiful. It's not as crowded as most of the islands, and if you go to the beach early in the morning you can have it all to yourself.
You can do day trips to other islands, go on all-day snorkel trips, rent boats etc.
We have a timeshare at the Westin, but there are other nice places to stay. Caneel Bay has no TV and no phones in the rooms, and some beautiful beaches.
Try going to www.tripadvisor.com to help you narrow it down a bit. You can get reviews from people who've stayed at just about any resort, but go for the overview. There are always reviews from those people who will never be happy with anything
Can you guys chime in? Im basically looking for somewhere tropical and not infested with tourists. I've been to oahu like a million times so that is out of the question.
I was really considering Bora Bora, but looks like that could get expensive really quick. We only have about 10-12k allotted for a 2 week honeymoon.
