Default Question for Raj...

I'm a little hesistant to head to the ER since I have no health insurance.

EDIT: Found an urgent care that's open....I'm on my way out to get checked out

but here's the story...

I was picking up my younger sister from an after school program. After we both got into the car and just as soon as I was about to start it, we were hit from behind by a motor home. Funny thing was.....there was no one inside. Some douche comes running out apologizing for not having the brakes all the way in. I seemed ok, my sister seemed ok...but I did hit the back of my head pretty damn hard and as I was calling the cops, I noticed a clear yellowish fluid suddenly rush out of my nose almost like a nose bleed. I don't believe it's mucous because it was quite thin. What could this be? I've never seen it before...and it's worrying me.

I'm hoping it's not CSF....but I was recovering from a cold just the past few days

Here are the pics of the car - sad sad day today.

and this is the douche with his motor home..

Go to the ER! If you have no insurance, just fill out a request for grant later on. Hospitals have programs for people in need like that.

Edit: or at least go to a clinic to have them check it out.

I forgot about the other driver's insurance. Even if no one has insurance, there are still aid programs available.

Yes, but you tell your (car) insurance company and they will send the bill along to the person who hit you (car/motorhome) insurance and pay for the bills. Assuming they had insurance.

Yep, this is not a health issue. It's a liability issue for the owner of the vehicle at fault. I'm hesitant to say driver in this case.

so i'm back from the ER

looks like the yellow/clear fluid shouldn't be a concern. they told me that since i was recovering from a cold, it was probably mucous that got kicked out from the impact.
